  1. The universe ultimately came into existence:
    • Through the special creation of a divine being
    • Through impersonal, natural forces
    • The universe has always existed
    • It is not possible to know how the universe came into existence
  2. The universe is made up of:
    • Both material/physical and immaterial/nonphysical entities
    • Only physical/material entities
    • Only nonphysical/immaterial entities
    • It is not possible to know what the universe contains
  3. Of all that is "real," the most ultimate reality is:
    • God as Creator
    • The physical universe
    • Humans as the pinnacle of beings in the universe
    • The cosmic oneness of the universe
  4. The universe reveals:
    • A design that could only come from a supernatural Designer
    • An apparent design that is actually the product of natural selection
    • No real design or purpose
