The Value of the Christian Worldview

First, the Christian worldview unifies one's beliefs into a coherent, biblically-based system. The basic beliefs of the Christian worldview provide a comprehensive, coherent, consistent and compelling roadbed upon which to travel through life. In the next section we will discuss the specific beliefs that form this remarkable foundation.

Second, the Christian worldview provides guidance for practical living. Christianity is designed by God to work in real life, not just hypothetically. When the beliefs and values of the Christian worldview are applied to real life, they work. When we view life through the lens of God's story of creation, fall, redemption and consummation, the world makes sense.

Third, the Christian worldview provides the tools necessary to discern truth from error. Scripture and God's self-revelation in creation provide us with the knowledge we need to make judgments about what is true and what is not true.
